Kuro had Jango put the whammy on Morgan and their shipmate Nugire Yainu, making them think Yainu was Kuro. So Morgan took him back to his base to get rid of him as if he was Kuro. With everyone soon thinking he’d kicked the bucket, Kuro decided to take off and get rich and chill out for himself.
