Ya know, opossums don’t have much fur to keep ’em warm, so they gotta find a dry, sheltered spot to hunker down in during the winter. They’re especially vulnerable to frostbite on their tails, ears and toes, so when it gets real cold out they’ll usually “hole up” somewhere. That could be a hollow log or tree.
